The pool area is good. The wifi was good in the apartment.

The agent DreamAlgarve is very unprofessional. Had request an early check-in around 1300 when booking (a month earlier), they advised I would have to collect keys. A few days before arrival message received that an early check-in not possible but call by offices and check on arrival. Check-out is 10am so don't understand how they could not facilitate. Got keys a 4pm and when arriving at apartment cleaning lady was just closing the door behind her. When we went to use pool we were advised with need wrist bands and badges to access the area. We were not advised by DreamAlgarve and they had not sent the required email notification to marina hill Mgt. Over the day I tried calling DreamAlgarve regarding the issues described above but they did not answer their phones, resulting in me having to drive to their offices on 3 separate occasions. Definitely not a Day 1 experience anyone wants. The apartment is very dated and tired. It requires considerable up grading. The main bedroom has a timber base, creeks something terrible with the slights of movements and not very comfortable. It continually woke each other up during the night. The electricity supply is unstable and main breaker continually trip each evening. Sometimes it was the cooker, a hairdryer and the TV another night. Reported daily via booking.com. Complaint also made to booking.com but no feedback as yet.

# Location is fab, this is our 2nd time returning to marina park so we knew what to expect when booking this area, 10mins walk to pingo Doce, a huge supermarket with everything that you need. An uber to bring you back is approx 4 euro if you have loads to carry. The walk to and from the marina is approx 10mins, it does involve a hill but it's manageable. There is also a little shop in marina park for your basic needs. # this particular apartment is very spacious with all the amenities you expect when staying in a self catering apartment, love the spacious balcony and outside seating area. It is the little extras like coffee machine, drying rack with pegs that you appreciate especially when travelling with small children. #Pool and poolside restaurant was satisfactory, open until 8pm.

# The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and not sturdy at all. The sofa is abit dated and worn. They both could do with replacing in my opinion. . #we had the key card to enter the pool area but was challenged by staff when we didn't have our blue wristbands. Apparently you need to get this at the reception of the marina park and the owner needs to send an email directly to them to give permission, the booking agent cannot do it. It took 4 days for this to happen so very disappointing in the lack of urgency to get this resolved. #key collection is abit of a hassle as it needs to be collected first from an agency which is approx 8 mins drive from marina park, not ideal if you arrive late in the evening and you have young children plus all the luggages. We arrived at 10pm, this incurred a late check in charge and we had to pay our driver a little bit extra to take us to our apartments after as its multi stop drop off.
