B17 - The Stunning Seaview Apartment

The apartment is in a great location, is very nice and clean, and has beautiful view. And because of the sea air and the wind we didn't need to use the air conditioning even though it was very hot outside.

They need to fix the shower hose in the shower - it leaks a lot, so the water pressure was not great, but at least it was still useable. The jacuzzi was very cool but it also does not drain very well. If it wasn't for these two things (and the fact that I had to pick up the key somewhere else), I would have given this a 10.

Smelled moldy in apartment but nice breeze with opening windows so that helped. The washing machine was disgusting. We looked specifically for a place with AC and washer/dryer, but there was no way I would have used the washer. The AC didn’t get the bedrooms cool so it was uncomfortable. Lock to apartment was very annoying, spent 10 mins trying to get in each time, needs to be rekeyed. Need hot pads, no way to get pizza out of oven safely. As an American we had no idea how to use appliances, it would have been nice to have instructions, our next apartment in Seville had clear instructions. Charging for after hour pick up was frustrating as we had no control with the train running late.

The central location in Lagos

The apartment is quite old, and a lot of things are worn out or broken. The shower is very inconsistent, switching between cold and hot water because the boiler takes a long time to heat up. The bed is uncomfortable, and overall, it’s definitely not worth the price they’re asking. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There are several items broken, which were not mentioned. the door on the balcony could not be locked, also in the winter garden there is a window which has broken key and the window is always a little bit open cannot be moved. Also, the kitchen has a door which nearly falls on your hand when you open it because there is a broken hinge. It’s everything not a problem, but you should have informed us. Also like a key card or pin system would be great so we had only one key which is sometimes problematic when we’re going on different trips. Also, the main door is very massive, but you can hear like everything from outside the apartment. It’s should be sealed somehow. Also, the water system is very loud so if you like wash your hands in the middle of the night when you go to toilet, you wake nearly everyone up. But overall we liked to stay.

Very tired. Pillows not great. Curtains falling down. Not homely. Pictures online made it look ok. No dishwasher tablets.
