Fern Lodge

A wonderful cabin in the middle of a beautiful wood, full of wildlife. Very spacious and well equipped. Large windows for a decent view and a nice decking area with seating which is also enclosed so is perfect for a dog! Enjoyed our stay here, perfect for a family that wants peace and quiet away from the rat race that is life!

Only one thing I can think of is the wifi. Very slow and wouldn't load google maps etc which is handy when we wanted to go out an explore! Other than that, nothing, I liked it all!!

Great location for exploring Lincolnshire. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our boys loved exploring the surrounding woodland, which was so peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location, calm and peaceful.

Would highly recommend. This was our 3rd time here. The lodge is spacious, clean and has everything you need and even caters for dogs. The beds are lovely and comfy, too. The hosts have made a really useful introduction/information pack, which is brilliant, especially if you don't know the area. They even have board/card games for families. The location of the lodge is in a lovely peaceful area, surrounded by trees and is close by to woodland walks. We love sitting on the veranda with a drink watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and on the odd occasion owls. We will definitely returning.

Can honestly say I can't think of anything we didn't like.

Beautiful location. Lots of space. Lovely outside seating in the woods with views of the woodland. Children loved picking blackberries. Receptive owners. Good value for money

We would have liked more of the disposable supplies: rubbish bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, kitchen towel. There wasn’t enough for 6 people for the week. It would have been nice to have more than 2 tea towels. They were pretty nasty after being used all week.

Quiet and peaceful but close to the Kenwick Hall so could eat there and use their facilities if needed. Also easy to get into the Wolds and to the main town of Louth.

No internet connection.Difficult time with a lot of complains from the kids. We were also given wrong code twice for the main entrance to the village without much help from the owners

Clean, everything you need for a lovely short break. Great location and facilities.

Amazing place

Hot water only lasted for one bath then had to wait hours for it to warm up again for someone else to have a bath.
