"Good base for an active trip in and around London"

The location was great! Walking distance to the station, 30mins on train to central London. Plenty of nice eating places in Epsom itself. Great position to do Chessington (7mins), Thorpe (35 mins, 50mins with traffic) and Legoland (55 mins, 1hr 10 with traffic). Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and good pressure. It was clean and the 3 fans were very appreciated. Staff did reply to messages, if a little impersonal at times (some messages were standard responses) but having said that they did respond to any issues fairly promptly. Shop under the premises was very hand and great selection of foods etc. Friendly staff.

The apartment was a bit tired looking and needed some TLC, which other reviews had spoken about. The headboards on 2 of the beds were broken, wear to carpet and kitchen worktops, damage to hob (still worked) and bit of paint touch up needed. Didn't detract from our trip.
