Ariyadasa Guest House

This just for information to potential new guests: I stayed in what Booking.com said was a flat. But in reality it was a more or less naked spacious room, with a bathroom outside and shared with others. The adverticed balcony was not connected to the room, you had to pass a common corredor area to reach there. The so called dining area was also outside the room, and of course not with air condition. I did like to stay there, but think it is correct to make these comments for improving the Booking.com text and inform new travellers. NB. The ac and wify worked very well. Breakfast very good!

I was fine, a singel simple person. But I would have appreicisted a water boiler and a small table in the bedroom.

The lady who owns this property is so kind and helpful, we only stayed 1 night but wish we could have spent more time. The breakfast was also so nice, thank you so much 😊

Nothing, it was perfect

Room was clean, good air conditioning, bathroom was spacious and clean. Balcony also was a nice touch. We also got a good breakfast, no complaints there.

Host tried to check us out early contradicting what it says on booking. Wouldn't of been an issue only it was the morning we were checking out that we were told this. Also, we weren't allowed leave our luggage there until our train arrived. Small thing but this would've saved us dragging them around for the day.

Easy access into town, supermarket and transport. Hotel was quite due to it's position back off the main road.

Would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities.

Accommodation was close to Galle Fort. The room was spacious and included a working AC.

Check-in was really rushed; a drink for the two of us was provided but needed to be consumed within 2 minutes. Overall cleanliness could be improved (especially regarding the mosquito net) and the Western breakfast that was provided was extremely basic (and small portion). No kettle or toilet paper present either.

Hard to find on arrival
