Beautiful city center apartments in Ghent near medieval castle

Good communication from hosts, great location, spacious apartments with powerful AC units

All batteries for AC remotes were dead, floors need a good mopping, used towels in hamper upon check-in, freezer frozen over and needed to be defrosted, soap empty

The location is perfect to visit and enjoy the city. Amazing view, nice terrace, good interior setting.

It would have been great to have nightstands and a lamp in the bedroom upstairs, maybe also with a chair or little table to let personal stuff.

Location, had a small working lift, comfortable beds, charming, & spacious. We stayed in the Clockhouse apartment. Felt safe. Clear communication. Would recommend.

The pictures are mashed-up of multiple apartments. Wasn’t really sure which one we were getting. Outside noise can be a bit loud. If anyone in your party has mobility issues, the 2nd bedroom is upstairs, but the living room couch also makes into a bed. The shower is a tub shower with a nozzle.

Conveniently located in the heart of Ghent. The host was superb, though we never met in person, they provided constant communication and necessary information. My kids loved that Netflix was in English and the beds were super comfortable. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

The walls are very thin and one can easily hear others in neighboring apartments.

The location was fantastic, it was great to be right in the centre of things. The hosts were very informative and helpful. Really comfortable and stylish apartment - my teenage daughter was very impressed! We loved the roof terrace and the views over the city at night, too.

Location is excellent Living area and kitchen facilities very good Bedrooms good but better curtains would have improved things. The upstairs curtains were falling off.

The shower is poor with a hand held shower over a bath. Expect better for this price

Location was perfect for exploring. There was plenty of space for two couples to have their privacy. The decor was cute, accommodations comfortable and enough dishes and cookware provided to make meals and feed everyone! Elevator to 4th floor was small but ran smoothly.

The stairs to the second bedroom are quite steep - enough so that my 25 yr old son and daughter-in -law chose not to come down again, even for the bathroom, after they went to bed. I wouldn't recommend the upstairs for someone with mobility issues - but they could sleep on the couch in the living room instead! The bed upstairs and the bed downstairs are tucked into an alcove with walls against three sides, that requires you to "scootch" in and out at the foot of the bed. My husband has a bad back and it was difficult for him. Also, the cooking vent above the stove sticks out into the walkway - we all hit our head at least once, and 3 of us are only 5'6". Owner might want to consider putting "bumpers" on the two corners. Because it's right in town it does get loud at night on the weekend if you have any of the windows open.
