Beautiful city center apartments in Ghent near medieval castle

Excellent location and spacious apartment. Responsive hosts. Great potential.

Whilst the apartment could be amazing there's lots of little and quite simple things that let it down. For example no bedside tables in the master, no bedside light and switch over the room. Need light at entrance door for safety. Really need corner protectors on cooker hood its dangerous at head/eye height. Needs cabinet or shelves in upstairs bedroom and small chair big room but no furniture. Should have a coffee table in the lounge for the size of room. Patio door in main bedroom won't close easily letting mosquitos in. Should clean off mosquito splats on the walls and ceilings too. Few broken blinds in front room which are surely easy fixes. Big issue front door wouldn't unlock when we got up, check as this is a big safety issue as is having no smoke alarm. The place was pretty clean but walls were scuffed. Bring ear plugs it's a noisy stree. No welcome pack in the apartment which you would expect for the price. The stairs to second bed are very tight and a bit dangerous not for elderly or infirm. Could have coat hooks in the hall. Festive lights when the market is on would be a nice touch. Extra light in shower needed.

Right in the center of Gent. All the attractions are within walking distance. Perfect accommodation for 4-6 persons

Locatie

Oude doorleefde meubels, vies met permanente vlekken erin. Doorgelegen bedden. Badkamer niet goed schoon, kwamen nog een gebruikte handdoek van de vorige mensen tegen. Voor een appartement dat ruim 400 per nacht moet kosten hoort dat niet te kunnen.
