Geldmunt Apartment

It was a privilege to stay in this centuries-old historic building. Full of quirky period features. The huge bed was super comfy. Location right opposite the castle is superb.

The ladder-like staircase to the bedroom was a bit awkward. Noise from the tram-line was a bit annoying until I got used to it - just wear earplugs and that solves the problem.

Wonderful location. Cant get much better. The owner was super fast at replying when I asked a question.

Yes the stairs were very steep but simply just leave your large bags on the floor below.

La decoración es algo extraña y algunos detalles no son muy cómodos (escalera al piso de arriba, dónde la cama son dos colchones en vez de uno grande, la cuarta persona tiene que dormir en el salón y con el colchón en el suelo, la ducha carece de puerta o cortina…)

Уникальный аутентичный дом в самом центре города с видами на Графскую крепость. Очень хорошая хозяйка Лидия, оперативно помогает решить все вопросы. В реальности дом намного более красивый, чем на фотографиях!

La limpieza, amabilidad del propietario y distribución del espacio.

Habíamos hecho la reserva para tres personas. Creo que el sofá cama debería haber estado preparado. Por otro lado, el que las ventanas no se pudiesen abrir resultó un poco agobiante ( esto es una cuestión personal). Todo ello no resta encanto al alojamiento.

The location was fantastic. It was spacious, and they provided all the bits and bobs you could need. Extra toilet roll, shower gel, dishwasher tablets etc. which saves you buying when only staying a few nights. Having the castle outside the house was incredible.

I would say if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs, the trams are directly outside your door and continue into the early hours. Mosquito spray would be advisable to purchase if you know you’re tasty, I was eaten alive in bed.

The location is amazing! Being across from the castle is great. Easy access to attractions. Highly recommended!

Right opposite Gravensteen castle. The view and location could not be better. Close to trams and added bonus - very close Christmas markets
