Howth village apartment

Apartment was very clean, bed was comfortable, en-suite shower was good.

Access was difficult and bad, view was attrocious both front and back, amenities were poor, furniture was cheap and nasty. The description of this property was not honest, yes parking was free, but it was on the street and not readily available. Access was outside via the rear entrance to the restaurant, it was dirty and had steep steps up to the accommodation. No private area to sit outside and it overlooked a filthy terrace. No welcome pack, only a few items left in the cupboards by previous guests. The kitchen was poorly equipped insufficient crockery etc., and the dishwasher was well beyond its sell by date. The whole property is in need of refurbishment, and was the rental price was about 4 times what the property was worth. It is not to be recommended to anyone. To sum up, it is an absolute rip-off and the owner should be ashamed.

Lovely apartment, situated above a fabulous restaurant. Karl is a lovely host really helpful and friendly. The apartment is in a fantastic location. We will definitely return. Would highly recommend!

poor plumbing with smelly drains needs refurbish kitchen needs saucepans, chopping boards dirty shower curtain poor entrance at back of restaurant/ needs sweeping

Excellent location, warm, spacious refurbished apartment. Comfortable beds with plenty of storage space

Ensuite shower tray and wash hand basin were chipped. Mould stains on shower door and tray. The entrance to the apartment is via the outside seating area which is not in use at this time of year. It was very untidy and created a bad impression. On street parking.
