We had a wonderful time - the house is BEAUTIFUL - well furnished, super clean, interesting books on the shelf, very comfortable bed and has a cute little backyard where you can chill and look at the sea. It's located in a quiet area, short walk to the beach and the closest mini market is 5min away. Martha is an amazing host - very friendly and she gave us plenty of recommendations for good restaurants. Thank you! <3

The apartment is beautifully furnished, stylish, comfortable. Martha is a helpful host and gave us loads of great tips concerning what to do on the island. Very calm surroundings and a nice view.

As already noted by others, it’s high up on the island, accessible only by climbing a lot of fairly steep stairs. Only recommended if you’re in good shape. If you have serious luggage, book a donkey transport, otherwise the climb isn’t really doable.

"Luxury, high up in Hydra."

Very pleasant apartments in immaculate renovation. Stunning views of Hydra and sea. Very helpful owner. She will arrange donkey transport to and from ferry.

It is a feature of the location that you need to negotiate a fair few steps to reach the property. Whilst that has its quaintness, you need to be fairly fit. It would not be suitable for the disabled or infirm. Unless willing to be donkey transported. No vehicles on Hydra: just donkeys and mules!!
