Break Water Point Penthouse 7th Floor

Modern, very clean and a few steps to the beach. Host was Very accommodating and responsive. We loved it! The pool, the beach and the penthouse itself. Best stay so far in Costa Rica!

Our favorite property in Jaco. Close enough to walk the beach into town and far enough away from the hoopla of town. Nelson (the gate keeper) is also a great asset to the property.

Property was gated and seemed very secure. We arrived late night and gaurd was waiting for us in the guard shack. Elevator in good working order. Clean rooms and kitchenette. Two suites with flat screen tvs (both with access to balcony). Air conditioning worked great! Pool and easy beach access. Room had pool towels and bath towels. But the best part of this room are the views! Right next to the ocean and near the mouth of a river. Could see the beach clearly and even some dolphins/seals!

Thin walls. We stayed in unit 702 and it seemed that you could hear every noise coming from unit 703 (there was a shared door inside the unit that was locked but needs sound proofing). Also there was only a table outside. No dining room or living room inside, but that didn’t bother us. The cooking items could use a refresh some of the pans seemed old but again it worked and it is typical for Costa Rica.

There was scaffolding blocking our ocean view and workers on our balcony both days. They refused to move our room or refund me. Terrible experience. Do not book this place.

Nelson, the host was very friendly and helpful. The property is secure and private.

The beach sand is brown.

Payment options. Manager not around to take payment. No hours of operation posted on door. Payment option sent by host did not work.
