Kiama Seaside Getaway

About a 7 min walk to the main street, and about a 5 min walk to one of the beaches. It was across from one but there was a massive car park and footy oval you had to cross to get to the beach. The furniture has since been updated but the photos on booking.com haven't been so it's MUCH nicer then the pictures show. Great appliances top of the range stuff in the house. Pretty happy. Excellent outdoor area also. Abit pricey but worth it for luxury and convenience. Also fantastic aircon that gets the whole house and every room.

It was very confusing we had check out instructions printed out inside the house that said we had to put the bins out on a Friday and set the alarm upon checkout. I msged the owner to double check where we put the bins was right and he called us saying the instructions were wrong and we went back inside and had to put the bins back which added on 20mins after we had already checked out. However the owner said he would fix those instructions as it was incorrect. Also the drier took way too long to dry clothes!

that we were not aware it was a stays apartment until after we booked, then it was non refundable. this needs to be shown before final payment is taken. we leave places we stay tidy, but the need to clean down benches and sweep the floor made the experience less enjoyable especially when it was stated at the property that failure to do these things may mean that we did not get out bond back. the fact that we had to have a bond is not good. the money has been marked against our account, not like the smaller amounts that are held in hotels and such. so while the apartment was fantastic, our stay has been coloured by the booking process. the apartment owners are not at fault, this is purely a bookings.com problem.
