clean, great facilities, comfy beds

Using Duve to register ID information - there must be a better way than putting our ID online with cyber-threat risk Also letterbox code was deep within Duve correspondence, not Booking.com emails, so I could not find the number. Took one hour to get response from host (who was otherwise very pleasant).

It was close to the beach and spacious enough

I have never seen so many rules! They expect you to sweep, wipe down surfaces and even suggest mop before you leave. For nearly $500 a night I found this completely unreasonable and made us paranoid the whole time you were there because they take a $1000 deposit to ensure its left in a completely clean state. I understand the need to take your rubbish and leave the place in a tidy state, but it was truly ridiculous the number of rules. We felt like we couldn't relax at all and took photos when we left to ensure we could prove it was left in a clean state. It was also pretty rude to state these rules when the house was not clean to start with and did not have sufficient kitchen supplies.
