Naganoya

This is a luxury appartment by japanese standards very close to a roofed pedestrian and shopping zone and close to Nijo-jo and public transport stations. Everything was well-explained and easy to find / use.

Nothing, really.

Location quite convenient, not too far from Nijo station, and quite a lot of amenities (supermarket, convenience store, drug store) nearby. Room was spacious compared to other hotels, and quite comfy.

The duvet was ridiculously small. I’m not a tall person but I always had my feet ending up outside.

Conveniently located in a quiet street close to Nijo castle and well connected to the rest of Kyoto via public transport. Spacious for local standards and well fitted. Check in and check out instructions very detailed and easy to follow. Spotless clean too. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

I felt the room was not well insulated from the outside weather and being the mid of winter that was uncomfortable. The inverter in the room was insufficient to offset that inconvenience. The communication with the hosting company was easy but very distant, despite being there a week we might have seen a human twice all in all. This felt quite impersonal.

Clean, comfortable beds

We were given almost like a basement type of floor, it was way too dark inside

very comfortable space and quiet location, few breakfast coffee nearby. Not really far from travel spots and railways. Love it anyway, would definitely stay here next time.

Lots of accessories, including washing machine and cooking tools, microwave. Clean space and comfort bed.
