The environment and cleanliness of the room. There's a small balcony where we can dry our clothes after washing. Also there's cafe and restaurant nearby where they serve good food. Very near to Nijo Castle.

It was amazing to stay at this lovely place. Very very special. I like the big window and the veranda. We’ll came again. All was well prepared for us. Location is the best! Quiet on one hand but easy to go to places, shops and Temples.

Location was brilliant and underrated. Really liked the room - it's cool - and Kitchenette is awesome even tho I didn't use it :) Liked that there was no snooty check-in. I much prefer to just do my own thing.

Rooms could do with a few more surfaces in the bathroom. I couldn't put anything down while styling my hair or doing my makeup. Nowhere to put my wash bag etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kyoto. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from Nijō Castle and very close to Nijō Station, providing easy access to Kyoto’s main tourist attractions. Naganoya was one of the most spacious accommodations we’ve had during our two-month trip in Japan. The house was well-equipped with all the essentials: kitchen utensils, comfortable king beds, a dining table, refrigerator, freezer, sofa/bed, stove, and washing machine and all super clean. At the entrance, there’s also a vending machine, and luggage can be securely stored with a lock. Check-in is self-service using a code to retrieve the keys, but if you have any issues or questions, the owner is very friendly and responds promptly.

The only drawback was the lack of space to hang clothes, making it difficult for them to dry. It’s worth noting that we stayed during early spring on the ground floor, where humidity was higher.

Good and clean rooms. Location is easy to get to. Check in is easy and staff is responsive via text.

The room was dark and the cupboard was damp inside so we didn’t hang our clothes The shower went hot and cold But the location was very good We stayed for 8 nights and could have done with fresh towels . There was three of us and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

Perfect location if you're okay with a 15 minute walk each morning to get to where you want to go. Whether its the train station, Nijo castle or some local shops, its all fairly close. The room was clean, as a group of three we had two people on beds and one on the sofa bed. If you're okay with a fairly solid surface to sleep, the sofa bed isn't too bad for your third person. It was a little cramped with three people and all our suitcases. But if you're travelling light, it's a perfect place which you should have little issue with.

Good sized room that was clean and had good storage space as well as private laundry. Cooking facilities in the room were also very useful. Great location with shops and restaurants nearby and close to public transport. Bike hire available from accommodation at a good price and staff were always very helpful with any queries.
