憩 出町柳２(ikoi DemachiyanagiⅡ)

出町柳駅のすぐ近くなのがとても便利でした。 冷蔵庫、洗濯機があったので連泊の方も泊まりやすいです。 親戚の家にいるようでとても落ち着いて過ごせました。 布団と枕が思ったよりふかふかで寝やすかったです。 コンビニが近く助かりました。

トイレが狭く、大柄な方はドアが閉められないかもしれません。 あと１階に蟻が出て厄介だなあと思いました。 ２階への階段が狭く、急なので人によっては上がりにくいかもしれません。

チェックイン時に冷房を入れておいてくださったこと 非常に助かりました。

Nice Japanese style house

Location tricky, even for taxis. Rough road back alley: hard on rolling suitcases. Interesting reno on old property. Sweet older women in neighboring props. Very quiet. Spacious for Japan but vertical with steep staircase. Interesting area probably considered a “bad” neighborhood by some but I felt perfectly safe as a single woman, but hey, I’m from NYC! Very close to bus and subway station. Beautiful walk along the river close by. Cheap as lodging prices go. Better for young guests than elders. Clever lighting within and handily-placed light switches. Awesome Family Mart nearby.

Hard to find. Zero door code instructions given so entry was a bit tricky at first. Door felt flimsy. Generally tidy but hairs left in bathroom sink; some stains on top of washer; a little crusted food on some silverware. Can only recommend property for the physically limber. Extremely steep staircase to sleeping area with very narrow steps: (hard to believe it passes building codes). Stairs must be navigated at night to use toilet. An envelope asking for Y600 left on table; I complied but is that legal/normal in Japan? Low, Japanese-style table/chairs may be tough for elder Americans. OK for me but totally inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location. Reasonably quiet while being close to shopping and river. All the appliances and plumbing were in good order including the Air Conditioning units on both floors.

The toilet room was so tiny that my knees touched the door while seated on the toilet. I had to open the door to keep from overheating. The staircase to the upper floor sleeping area was very steep. I'm only 176cm and 65kg. Larger people or those with mobility issues would find this apartment quite challenging.

The futon was comfortable I slept very well. Location is also very good.

The bathroom is small I couldn’t close the door
