憩 出町柳２(ikoi DemachiyanagiⅡ)

The location, accessibility and the property itself was wonderful. Everything was quote comfortable for us as a family. The bust stop was within walking distance and so was the train station.

The location is very close to Demachiyanagi Station. This gives easy access to most of eastern Kyoto.

nice cozy single house, very clean and well equiped. The host provided a lot of information to make sure our arrival was smooth. Greatly appreciated.

The bathroom is uncomfortably small. It so happened that our stay were some very cold days, even with Kyoto standard. While the room was warm enough, the bathroom was icy cold.

A pretty big place in a good location considering the cost. There's a station and bus stops very close. Convenience store is less than 5 mins on foot. Airconditioning and lights had been left on for me when I arrived, which was great since it was the evening in the middle of summer. A very quiet area with no noise from traffic, trains, or neighbours.

Although the toilet, bathroom, and kitchen were all nice and clean, there was a lot of build up of dust in general. I also had some issues with spiders and ants. Nothing too awful, but still annoying. The stairs are very steep, but I didn't personally find this a problem. The toilet is very small, so some people might not be able to close the door properly. The road outside is gravel, so it may be difficult to take a large heavy suitcase. The roads are also a bit narrow, so the taxi couldn't drop me off/pick me up right outside.

We chose this place because it was close to our friends who lives nearby. The location is great, just a couple mins away from Demachiyanagi station and many eateries nearby. The laundry machine was very useful and the shower/sink around was very spacious. It felt like we were living like the locals. We had requested a late checkout the last min and the host was very nice and accommodate. The host was very responsive at all times. We would stay here again.

The toilet area is very tight, we couldn’t close the door when using. The stairs are very steep, but I understand that’s the style of the older architecture.

Cozy and clean place. Good location and reasonable price.
