- A little bit weak WiFi - Too many and too long auto-generated messages from the owner via Booking.com (I appreciate the dedication to tell us everything we should know but seriously, consider some optimization of the algorithms, it was really hard to dig through all those walls of text)

the location is very strategic, close to the bus stop. the atmosphere around the house is very quiet

A great opportunity to stay in a Japanese apartment in a local neighborhood. Check in was easy. The people nearby were very friendly, giving this stay a welcoming vibe. The apartment is nice, just be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs with very steep stairs. This was not a problem for my wife and me, but if you are travelling with someone with leg injuries or kids its something to consider. There are some good local restaurants nearby. Google transate helps to read the menus. We enjoyed staying here.

House was not indicated by any name and so we had difficulty identifying it . Needed WiFi to get the check in instructions so we ended up ringing the help line .

The location, directions to the property, check in process, quick response from the host. The property was neat and small with beds on a different floor. Bedding was very comfortable.The property had basic cooking facility and hot water availability with towels. 15 to 20 mins from Kyoto Main Station

The steep stairs. Using toilet in the middle of the night is not convenient. Not recommended for old people at all. Some cooking items like spatula or pans compatible with induction were unavailable.This made cooking even an omelette difficult

Good place in a residential area with good public transport possibilities. It was a good setting for our family of five to spend three nights in a traditional appartment in Kyoto. Sleeping on tatami mats/futon bed was good.

The bathroom was not cleaned well. The shower was only luke-warm. The dishes were not sufficient for the five of us. Only one glass, two beakers with tea stains and only 4 cups. Plates were sufficient, and as we ate out most of the time it was ok. Instructions how to use the washing machine would have been good.

We stayed here last year, it’s perfect. The area is little bit old, but metro is not far. Inside is very clean and we like it.
