The location is close to restaurants and bars, although it is at the top of a hill.

Aware it had no AC, stayed in other places in Portugal without AC that were not this hot. There was a horrible mouldy smell in the kitchen that meant neither me or my husband could enter it without gagging. There was no shower curtain meaning the bathroom would get extremely wet. The mop was wet and there was a dirty dish sponge left for us to use. Overall the smell of the apartment was not pleasant although upon entering at first it did smell clean, but the following morning the clean smell had left. No idea why this place is rated so highly.
