SBV Perfect River View

This wonderful appartment is situated at a great location. The property is clean and well equiped. Everything you need is there. The rooftop garden was really great. And there was even a BBQ that we could use. We had a wonderful time. A big thanks to Cristina and Daniela!

Everything. The little patio, at the top of the steps, the garden area. Greeted by señor Luis who showed us around. Every utensil you could need. A bottle of complimentary wine. The view, the space in the main room. The location was perfect too.

There really wasn’t anything to dislike. If I wanted to be super picky, the only thing to find any fault with was that bedroom was quite small. But, there is lots of cupboard space and it did have an en-suite. It didn’t negatively impact on our stay at all.

Perfect Location: It was in the middle of all the touristic attractions in Porto. Porto is a hilly town. But we did not suffer a lot to reach out to the apartment from river side. [It was still a lot of steps though. You cannot avoid steps in Porto] The house was well decorated. The kitchen was equipped with all you need. The terrace looked great to enjoy some time out with some views.

The heating was very insufficient. We were in Porto in late December with daily temperatures being around 10 degrees (C). It was very cold inside the building. We loved the house but we would not take it in winter period.

The location is right next to the Miradouro da Vittoria, so it’s busy.

The bedroom was not up to standard. The bed is a mattress on the floor in a windowless room so tiny it’s quite uncomfortable. There is a wonderful patio included. A new building currently under construction has all but eliminated about 70 percent of this view from the patio.

A lovely spacious apartment with a nice outside area with a river view. The host was very attentive meeting us at the property to hand over the keys exactly on time. The apartment had all the electrical items you would need. The apartment was very clean. The location was a perfect base to explore this wonderful City. Would highly recommend. Thanks Christina

The bedroom area was a little smaller than expected but we managed ok.

Great view of the bridge, Ribiera and Vila Nova do Gaia from the little balcony. There were steps down to a large terrace with furniture. The apartment was well appointed with a very nice kitchen area and living and dining areas. The owner and housekeeper were both very kind and helpful.

The bedroom is very small with no natural light except for an internal window between the en-suite and living area. It was hot and stuffy at night. There is building renovation work on the building at the end of the terrace. Fortunately it was only on the ground and first floor so was not too intrusive, but when they start working on the top two floors it will be noisy and the balcony and terrace will not feel private during the day. Obviously the owner can’t do anything about this.

Nothing, loved it all

The terrace and the big kitchen are wonderful.

The bedroom is a hole, you can’t use the bathroom without waking up your partner.

The apartment is spacious & comfortable. We were warmly welcomed & received a lovely bottle of rosé, large water, coffee pods, etc. It was great having a second toilet. The outside space was great & received the morning sun. It was nice & shaded in the late afternoon/evening. The apartment is located high up in Porto, so great views but lots of stairs & hills. I would definitely stay here again.
