SBV Perfect River View

The location is at foot distance from everything worthwhile. The apartment is delicious, with a fantastic view on Douro river.

The owner met us at the apartment to show us around. What a beautifully apartment. It had everything you need and more, one of the best equipped apartments I’ve stayed in. Lovely views. To sit and have your coffee in morning and evening another view while having supper. Garden with umbrella and barbecue. Very well situated near all historical sights within walking distance. Hop on hop off just up the road. Christina arrived with plastic hammers and a plant as it was a festival on the 23rd June for St John the Baptist. All the street were lined near us with people cooking sardines on fires and long tables to sit and eat them very delicious then you went around hitting everyone on the head with the plastic hammer what fun. Christine said her lady Danielle would come and clean our flat after 4 days. It was so nice to come home to clean bedding and towels and a clean flat. Very good linen and towels. Our stay was 7 days. Luis the manager was very helpful he came and sorted out the TV we couldn’t work. They have English tv channels. Wi hi very good. Luis organized us a taxi as we were leaving for Paris at 5.00 in morning. Taxi was there at 3.30. Thank you Luis and Daniella and to Christina.

Bedroom is a little small but you only sleep there bathroom big.

Lovely apartment to explore Porto, great view, good facilities, and friendly host. Plus great bar/cafe next door.

I like the location in the historical part of the city, the view, the facilities. We had an electricity shortage and the host came imediatelly at 11 pm. There is a short walking distance to the main touristical attractions and to Gaia.

The appartment is old and the floor makes a lot of noises when you walk on it. There is neither a central heating system( like in other locations in Portugal), nor air conditioning, so we only had a radiator for all the apartment. It was quite chilly during the night.

Really central flat, communication with the owner and Louis were great! The flat has everything you may need, from the coffee machine to the kettle and lot's of other great things! Thank you so much for your kindness

Great location midway between the river and the top of the town, not quite as steep to get to the apartment as some we saw. Catrina was very helpful and met us at the property, even had early access as previous people had already left. Views from balcony were fabulous. Tiny shop next door where you can get milk and a coffee/ice-cream. Could not think of anything that wasn't supplied in the apartment... definitely stay here again.
