Old City Park Apartment

Very good location. Easy check in. Kitchen has all necessities. Apartment was clean.

Bad sound isolation. Apartment a little worn out. Slight musty smell - not dirty, just some wetness in walls of the old building. Second bedroom does not have any working electric outlets. about half of lamps dont work either.

The location was good, the apartment was cozy and spacious. Also, the bed was comfortable. Furthermore it had a lot of facilities such as laundry machine and detergents, fridge, stove etc.

The apartment wasn't clean, there were hair on the towels and spots on some places. The couches were kinda scratched and the apartment's temperature wasn't so good but the owner said that there is central heating in the building. Also, the apartment is not the same as in the photos (it seems nicer in the photos).

Not children friendly, floors squeak, nothing said on booking regarding “rules at the property”, came with a year old, first evening already had the neighbour from downstairs coming and complaining about “loud waking” from a year old and talking about silence rules. Never came back after I have offered him to explain it to a year old. Were asked to wear slippers provided by the host, which were hotel single use slippers, but they were used and by the looks of it several times and a few other pairs of slippers, which seemed to be forgotten by previous guests. Property very outdated, pictures are probably over 5 years old, bathroom tile stitches full of black mould, paint peeling off, one of the bedrooms had the power socket cello taped, and the other one not working. Loads of paint spots on walls. Flooring boards literally move. Bedding quite old, when came there was laundry hanging on the drying rack in one of the bedrooms. Partner managed to get a big splinter from the flooring boards. All the leather furniture ripped and the sofa bed very noisy. No shower gel, only hand soap.

The apartment is large, comfortable and well appointed. The location is awesome, walking distance to the old town. We were lucky with parking, we found a spot very close to the apartment. The host sent very detailed instructions about how to get to the apartment, read them carefully, and, first of all, find and open the gate.

The only thing what we liked is the location

Unfortunately the property was very run down and not looked after, things broken/ not working, facilities not clean. Bathroom was just disgusting and we were shocked that the owner would not invest to make it more presentable. Everything just lacked cleanliness and care. Bed sheets were well used covered in lint balls, we had to change them inside out so they don’t itch the skin and we can get some sleep.
