Old City Park Apartment

Excellent location, spacious apartment and very flexible check-in.

The host communicated in a weird way and sent similar messages over and over again. When we got there it was a note saying we had to pay 200 euros if we were loud and that we needed to use slippers inside, so we were afraid to hang out in the apartment. The bed sofa was very old and made too loud sounds, so it was very tricky to sleep in it.

Everything was perfect for our short staying. Apartment is in city center nearby freedom monument. Apartment is in an old building so there is an old building vibe in it. We were let to check-in way earlier than it was written in the rules - very nice.

The 2 double beds were fine. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and was very squeaky. Other facilities were good, but the shower was poor.

This is really spacious apartment, which located in the City Center within walking distance of Old Town, shopping centers, restaurants, and it is easy to reach the Railway station. The facilities are almost like those described, it has two bedrooms and a big dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. The self-check-in process is simple and easy. Residential area is really quite and you shouldn’t hear the noise from the street.

First of all, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to family with kids. At the end of February it was quite cold, regardless of working central heating (in one room the radiator becomes clogged and the half of it was cold), also it was extremely cold in the bathroom and in the kitchen area. The apartment has a terrible soundproofing between floors (you can easily know what is neighbor upstairs is doing) and what is the most worth, the neighbor downstairs is extremely keen on about the silence. Don’t be surprised when someone calls to the door around 9pm, regardless of what actually you are doing (having dinner, watching TV or even reading the book). He will come and start yelling that there are also people downstairs and they also wants to have a rest. Reading the other comments, I understand this is some kind of ritual for this old man, who probably wants a piece of attention to this personality. Regarding the rest, a lot of small aspects in the apartment needs to be fixed (no hot water in the kitchen, radiator in the room, a couple of non-working sockets, plinth just laying down on the floor). In general, looks like that owner tried to put some efforts to make the apartment stylish and memorable a while ago, but later decided not to spent time for the maintenance.
