Central & Beautiful Apartment - Perfect Location by Flat Mаnager

Excellent location for the investment! If you want a centrally located accommodation that's actually pretty quiet, this is it. I'm not sure if it was a fluke during the week I stayed, but the place was super quiet, which was perfect for working remotely and for sleeping in after working late (to accommodate different time zones). I always travel with earplugs but didn't have to use them at all during this stay. As others have mentioned, the apartment is on the ground floor so not much direct sunlight, but for my purpose, this actually was perfect. Instead of waking up at 5am with the sun, I was able to sleep in after working late. I also liked that the windows faced a backyard of sorts that wasn't accessible to the public, so it felt as if I wasn't in the center of Sofia, and it also was nice to keep the shades and window open, listening to the rain (it rained a lot the week I visited!). If you prefer lots of light, however, this may not be to your liking. The entry to the building is not welcoming at all, but once you enter the apartment, you'll not be disappointed. The drawback of being so close to Sofia's city center is that you are most likely in a very old building, so I guess not much to be done about the entrance. The apartment itself is modern, though, and has everything I could need during my stay. I also noticed that managements must have listened to previous feedback because there were additions addressing previous recommendations. I think that's a good sign! Since I worked during my stay, strong WiFi was important to me and I had no issues (with Zoom calls or other work). When I first arrived, the WiFi information seemed incorrect but even though it was after official business hours, I was able to contact the host and resolve the issue quickly. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again should I choose to work remotely from Sofia in the future!

This is not really something I didn't like but thought I'd add the recommendation. As I mentioned, when I first arrived, I discovered that the WiFi information provided was incorrect. Regardless of how it happened, I would recommend that as the apartment is prepared for the arrival of a new guest, this information is double-checked, especially since WiFi was my one request when booking. This way the apartment will be fully ready for the arrival. Thanks!

The location of this apartment was awesome! I was able to walk to so many places and catch transit to all the others. Moreover, it was super clean. my sister stayed at the Hotel Marinela during this trip while I stayed here and she paid triple for a dirty hotel room and broken fixtures. This apartment was spotless with plenty of blankets, pots and pans, cutlery and dining-ware. The keys were easy to use and the location was easy to find, both for me and for the different taxis I called during the trip.

I do wish there was A/C as it was pretty warm in there even in late summer. There was a fan provided which was great! I’d probably put another one in at least. It’s also strange that the bathroom is one very large wetroom? So I think a shower curtain separator or something would be highly desirable as opposed to the current situation.

Everything was great. Place is huge and has everything you need for a week + stay, fully equipped kitchen. Strong and stable wifi to work from home. Thanks for everything.
