MOCCA Studio next to Crystal Garden and Russian Church by Flat Mаnager

This is honestly one of the best stays in Bulgaria I've had. It's a small apartment with a double bed, kitchenette and bathroom, very well designed and very comfortable for a single person, or a couple. It's easy to find, the keys are easy to get and you get a welcome booklet. The location is right in the middle of Sofia and easy to get there.

There is no sofa, but this is ok if you are in for a short stay.

The location of the building is perfect, central and safe. There are places to get take away food and a convenience store very close which is open very late. The apartment is also spacious, with all typical equipment (i.e., hair dryer, toiletries, etc.).

The building is very old and a bit spooky, especially if you arrive very late in the evening. The elevator is extremely old, I arrived very late in the night and stopped between floors (fortunately it worked to go back to ground floor, but was a bit scary in the old, dark building). Also, there is no sign at the apartment door to indicate that this is the moca apartment, which is unsettling when you have to try open the door at 2 in the morning thinking that it might be the wrong one.

I picked the location due to its close proximity to bus/train station and the city center. There is also a pedestrian street nearby with many shops and restaurants. Lots of great things to do in 1 kilometer radius. The waterfall shower is really nice with strong pressure and the bed is quite comfortable. The ceilings are tall, there are full length windows leading to the balcony which let in plenty of light in the morning. At night, the lighting in the apartment is bright and plentiful.

The cafes by the park across the street are quite loud on the Friday night when I stayed. Even with the balcony facing the court yard and windows closed, I could hear the music. It started to be quiet again around midnight. The inside of the building is run down. The stairs spiral up making carrying luggage difficult. This is officially the oldest and scariest elevator I have been in and it didn't even take me to the floor the apartment was on (the button didn't work).

It was clean and comfortable with good air conditioning for the very hot days. The shower room was brilliant. Being able to cook a meal was great.

Did not feel it was suitable for long stay. Not a nice view from window and had to keep curtains closed.

I loved the studio. It had everything I needed, and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with my coffee in the mornings. The location was so good, and all communications were excellent. Very clear instructions on picking up keys. A great place.

I was a little nervous going into the building initially but it was good to have the auto magic lighting, and once I settled in, I felt very safe there.

The location cannot be better, and everything is well arranged and comfortable, there is everything necessary for your stay (even a washing machine, although I didn’t have to use it).

Except that I could get to work in 10 while walking. But then I could have stayed somewhere else.

-the place was filthy and not that was the issue. When I complained, they said they would tell the building management which did not solve the situation while I was there. -the place is a room and not an apartment... -noisy: just above the whole systems for the air conditioning of the next door hotel. plus you could hear the neighbors flushing the toilet. In addition noise from the elevator -dirty dishes -uncomfortable bed as you are basically somewhere above a basement with no isolation. the cold comes up and it is really cold at night -dirty windows as you can not get to clean them from the outside -no place to sit. The pictures are blurry but in fact you have one tiny table and one chair, no armchair as advertised -the hall way of the building is creepy and dirty -looking out of the window: you have n sun light, you see and mostly hear the noise of the system of air conditioning of the next door hotel -the bathroom has no window as the exhausting pipe there makes noise too as does the elevator. If you are lucky, you can fall asleep past midnight -one pan and one pot in the kitchen. The pan was completely scratched and dirty as were the plates. -all in all just a filthy tiny noise room somewhere between the staircase and the air-conditioning of the hotel next door

The apartment is well-equipped. It is air conditioned and the location is quiet, yet very near to the main tourist sights. The accommodation is close to several good coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
