Carrara Accommodation

We only had one night here as we were passing through Split en route to one of the islands. The property was tucked away but well signed. We were met by the host who was very helpful. The air conditioning was good and the bed very comfortable and the location was excellent. The room was peaceful and quiet and had the bonus of a small terrace.

Netter Gastgeber - war alles sehr unkompliziert. Besonders hat uns das große klimatisierte Zimmer gefallen, die Lage und natürlich die tolle Terrasse. Für Familien mit Kind auch super geeignet. Wir werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen.

An amazing location, heart of the old town palace near the golden gate. 4 great restaurants right downstairs. Sweet old man to help check you in. Great patio. Fridge works, wifi works

Bed comfortability was OK, place could use some character/color.

I don’t usually give a 10/10, but we just had an amazing stay at Carrara Accommodation. Ivana is very responsive and answered any questions very quickly. She had also suggested a driver to pick us up from the airport after our long flight, and drop us back off early in the morning after a long weekend (4:20 pick up for a 6:30 flight: No problem!) The driver was very courteous and helpful with suggestions for foods and places to snorkel, etc. Safe driving too. When we got to our apartment, we received a quick tour. The room is a bit smaller than it looks on the pictures, but was perfect for the three of us (mother with two adult daughters). The couch had been readied as a third bed: perfect. The beds are all very comfortable and the place was clean and comfortable. There is even an outdoor patio to enjoy the many swallows on early mornings, and a rack to hang up a quick handwashing in between. As others had mentioned in their reviews, the apartment is above a restaurant, on a small square with a couple additional restaurants, so I was a little nervous about the noise. But as also been shared before, the moment you close the doors/windows, you don’t hear a thing from outside. Perfect! Oh, and the airconditioning works well, too. Which was very necessary during the hot days. Lastly, the location was fantastic. It’s in the middle of old town, which makes it convenient to everything from sightseeing to shopping to snorkeling tours. Overall, we had a great stay. Can highly recommend this place!
