Apartments Nova

First of all Miroslav is a great host. We arrived late at night and he bought some groceries and bread so we had something to eat. The appartement is big enough for 4/5 people and has everything you need. 20 min walk to old town or 10 minutes with the bolt which is online 6 euro.

- apartment is located in BASEMENT which is not described, photos of apartments are mixed with other apartments owned by the same host. Very misleading so be careful which apartment you reserve. - as mentioned it's basement so apartment is dark and you need all the time use indoor lighting

No air condition, house extremely hot, we could barely sleep at night.

The host was exceptional in his communication and personally handed over the keys to us while showing us the apartment despite our late arrival at around 11:30 pm and was very flexible with our check-out time, (we asked for an hour extension and he gave us 1 hour and 30 minutes). He was also extremely nice and provided us with beers, chocolates, and ice-cream. The apartment was also very clean and spacious and had many appliances that were very useful (washing machine, dryer, microwave, aircon etc).

It was an exceptional stay overall but it would have been even better if the aircon was able to distribute cold air throughout the entire apartment as it got quite hot in some areas within the apartment, although we did go during a heatwave.

Excellent communication with the host. Well serviced apartment with everything you need. Plenty of room, 2 bathrooms and a small but nice balcony.

Although the apartment had air con, it was still really warm (however, we did go in summer at one of the hottest parts of the year!)

The apartment was so clean and new, we were met by the owner who had bought my kids ice lolly's and biscuits, also left me a big bottle of beer, he advised us of all the amenities. There is a supermarket within 1 min walk as well as bars and cafes without them being close enough to be loud. I asked if they could leave a picture of a horse to welcome my children, I expected a photo of a horse on the bed, we got 3 large framed pictures in the kids room, I have posted them in the pictures, when we come back to Split this is the place we will stay for definate.

I'm trying to find something to put so the only thing I can think of is the location was just a bit far of a walk for my 4 year old to the beach and old town, for adults and my 11 year old it was fine but we had a car and it was only about 6 mins drive away. This does not put me off staying here again though
