Nothing it was perfect

Very comfortable apartment for 4 people, amazing location

La ubicación, la luz natural, que disponga de dos habitaciones con cama doble (ninguno tuvo que dormir en sofá cama) y dos baño completos; y a mis dos hijos de 11 años, el altillo, que bautizaron como sala gamer 😅. Si se presenta la oportunidad, volveremos sin dudarlo.

Nos gustó todo; pero por decir algo, había tres cosas a reparar, en la zona de la lavadora el foco no tenía bombilla, en el baño de la habitación había un halógeno fundido y en la zona del salón hay una tulipa rota.

Partendo dalle cose positive la casa è bellissima, piena di mobili di design. La cucina è meravigliosa con elettrodomestici di alta classe. La posizione è perfetta, a 2 minuti a piedi dal fiume, vicinissima a zona di degustazione e anche a tutte le cose storiche da visitare. Vicino si trova una bellissima piazzetta piena di ristoranti e anche per fare aperitivo.

La pulizia. Il livello di pulizia è imbarazzante, strati e strati di polvere ovunque, sui comodini, sui tavoli, il pavimento…(unica cosa pulita il bagno). Sembra come se non sia mai stata passata l’aspirapolvere, quindi abbiamo passato le prime due ore a pulire almeno tavoli, comodini e scrivanie. Render e cuscini colorati sul letto non vanno mai messi, pieni di polvere e di sicuro non lavati ad ogni cambio ospiti. I tappeti bianchi sono impossibili da curare anche a casa propria, visto che erano pieni di macchie e di polvere consiglierei di toglierli e di lasciare quel bel parque (anche più facile da pulire). Peccato perchè per più di 200 a notte onestamente la pulizia dovrebbe essere impeccabile. Detto questo se venisse risolto il problema di pulizie la casa sarebbe consigliatissima per tutte le ragione sopra citate.

Place was fantastic, area was very good. Only thing I had a slight problem with was trying to get a early check in other than that my stay was perfekt

The location is absolutely perfect. Great coffee shop close by. The river is super close by. The kitchen is fully equipped. Lots of pans, cooking utensils. Would be a really nice touch if they provided salt/pepper and cooking oil. The upstairs seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. Even though we had a few problems the team at Lovely Stay were very accommodating and where possible quick to fix the issues.

I understand it’s a safety feature, but all the smoke detectors flash constantly a green light….. drove us all mad when trying to get to sleep at night. The heating was almost impossible to get right. It was either freezing or like being on the sun. High ceilings and old buildings I guess this is just how it is. There was road works from 7am until 9pm everyday. Which we weren’t told about, pretty loud also. Would have been good to have a heads up. The bathroom radiators didn’t work, and if you didn’t set the heat up in the rest of the apartment we had cold wet towels. However after speaking to lovely stay, they did send extra towels. There’s no door number on the street. So quite tricky to find. A door number would be a great idea! The WiFi broke , we had to have someone out three times to attempt to fix. In the end they got us a temporary router which was great. The draws in the master bedroom were full of bedding/pillows, and as there’s no wardrobe I had to empty them out so we could store our clothes.

No number on outside door. Should add the number. We had to guess at it even construction workers outside didn’t Know There is major construction right outside the window. But most of porto is under construction.

The apartment is not far from the Porto railway station and the metro station. So the traffic is convenient. Also it is close to the river, the big bridge and some of the visiting sights.

A metro construction seems on the way around the property. So it is a bit difficult to access the property, but there is no noise during the night, so far as we feel.
