The Big Blue - old town center

The decor was cool and quaint and the apartment was very well located.

The a/c is only in the living area, so it was really hot in the bedrooms considering the 35 degree + temperatures.

it’s charming, but rather run down; extremely noisy, the garbage is pick up around 4/5am with a terrible racket, there was live music until 1am on a Friday night Shabby chic decor, very nice at a glance, but then you notice that bolts are untightened, handles are loose, lights are dim, bulbs are shot; also, the sheets on the beds are more like mattess covers than actual sheets, the kitchen is rather poorly equipped, no lids forthe pots and pans, no large bowls, chipped plates, dull knives. we had to wash everything begore using. Keep in mind that they do not provide laundry soap. It is a 3rd floor walk up, very hard if you are carrying suitcases, and it wasn’t stated anywhere; it gets extremely hot, there is A/C only in the living room. Last but not least, we got a text at 6:38 pm telling us about check out at 10am the following morning(!) but there’s nothing in the apartment advising guests about it. Rather disappointing all in all.
