Africa room old Town - Zadar

Our room was really nicely decorated with a large bathroom and shower. location was perfect and looked right out on to one of the main streets in the old town. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family going to Zadar.

There are a lot of narrow stairs to carry bags up to the room which was ok for us but older people may struggle.

Great quality apartment. Perfect for longer stay. Beautifully renovated. Right in the heart of the city.

Minor issues: tea/coffee set was almost empty. We didn’t get enough toilet rolls or bin bags for the whole stay.

Great location if you want to be in old town, everything is really accessible. Room was clean, well presented and no noise at all from the outside although you are right in the middle of the busy part old town.

Self check-in process was not smooth. We had to call the host for further instructions and all we got was ‘read your e-mail’, repeated twice. To confirm, there was no e-mail, there was a booking.com message we had missed, but the host refused to give us the code for the key without the ID documents being submitted. We had just travelled from Plitvice Lakes, with luggage outside, late in the evening, and the service we received was poor. The lady staying in a completely separate apartment was more helpful. Also be prepared for two flights of steep stairs, not easy with luggage.
