Cosy Central Riga Apartment

There was an error and the apartment was double booked for my stay, Tatiana invited me to stay in her second apartment, which was nice of her. So I can't judge this exact apartment as I was staying in another one, but the one I stayed in was big, had everything you may need, had a good location, and Tatiana was very welcoming.

The hosts made checking in very easy with their detailed pictures of codes/ gates/ etc which was great because I arrived late! Very straightforward process which I was grateful for, the apartment was a lot bigger than I realised, super cosy, and very comfy! I had a fantastic stay :)

Cosy, practical, very homey and had a comfortable lounge room chair. Washing machine, kettle , not far to old markets.

Was a bit further away from the old town than I thought but easy access to train and bus. 10 minute walk

It was really well located and Tatiana was really nice and flexible. The flat is spacious and really practical. It’s also really close to the market and train station.

Easy communication with the host. The apartment is a 2 minute walk to the central market, so it is well located. This is an old apartment that has been through some renovation. Very spacious and safe. Overall, it was a good stay.

No tv, no electric kettle and sometimes there was no hot water. Will need a new mattress aswell.

Central location, kitchen has new furniture and also well equipped, sunny from the street side. Washing machine provided. I was particularly happy about the iron and table

Well there were things what we didn't enjoy that much unfortunately. The flat in general is rather old, the car noise from the street loud. the bed and /or matrasse squeaky. Shower and toilet walls not clean. Me personally didn't like that I had to wash my face and tooth in the toilet, the black bed sheets (didn't give the feeling of cleanness), one big blanket instead of 2 singles. Lots of personal stuff, old empty beauty flasks in the shower (found bottle with date 2014 on it), the artificial smell of the parfume sticks . The house entrance smelled like cat pee, it was completely dark in the evening on the yard (we used our cell phone lights). The address on booking says I guess old street name, that's little comfusing, would be good to update. The communication with the owner was very minimal rather impersonal

Tatiana was extremely friendly and helpful throughout, she has given great suggestions on things to do in Riga. The apartment is very good sized with a comfortable bed, looks just like the photos.

There were no street lights at night which made it more difficult to navigate but no fault of the owners!
