Yes, it stated 12:00pm for checkingout, but the cleaner was at the door 11:50am telling us to get out, followed by the owner calling us at 11:55am telling us to leave. What an experience. No professional courtesy. It was a pity it ended this way because we did like our stay in the apartment. The apartment owner should be more professional when dealing with guests who are staying in your properties. This is going to be my review.

We spent a week in the Cosy Apartment in November. The owners speak perfect English and were very helpful. They sent full instructions on how to find and access the flat a few days before our arrival. (NB The co-ordinates on Booking.com are incorrect) The building number is 26 and access to the flat is via an archway to the left of the main door (see attached pic). The flat is about 1 mile from the centre of town. We used a mixture of walking, trams and Bolt taxis/scooters in order to get around. Transport is very cheap. The flat maintained an ambient temperature throughout our stay, so we did not need the hot water bottles and plug in heater that we took with us. Plenty of additional blankets/counterpanes are available should you need them. The flat contains everything that you might need, from a hair dryer through to a cheese grater. We were able to easily cook our own meals. During our time in the flat, we heard virtually no noise. It does not face the road, so we only heard far off traffic noise, such as the heavy rumble of a dustbin lorry or the wail of a siren. On 1 occasion I heard footsteps and a vaccuum overhead and on another occasion I could hear indistinct raised voices. Otherwise, throughout our week, it was pretty silent. The flat is basically made up of 3 rooms: (1) a large main bedroom, with a very large double bed (2) a slightly smaller second bedroom/sitting room, with a double sofa bed and a chaise longue style single bed (3) the kitchen/diner with a small shower room off to the side. A supermarket (usually open from 8am to 10pm) was 1 block north of the apartment. There were numerous places to eat in the vicinity (we highly recommend Mio, 1 block to the south). Food was generally more expensive than in the UK.

There wasn't anything really that we did not like. However, larger and/or infirm people may struggle with the flat. It is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. The shower cubicle is small, probably around 760mm square, with a step up to the shower tray. The kitchen area is a little tight. Having said that, my husband is 6ft 2" and 22 stone and he was able to access all the facilities quite easily. There were 2 net curtains, but no actual curtains, in the main bedroom. This did not worry us as we woke up and went to sleep when it was dark. We spoke to the owners when we left and suggested that a smoke alarm should be fitted and informed them that Brits/Americans often use 2 or 3 pillows - we were only supplied with 1 each. The owners have promised to rectify both issues.

This apartment is so big and comfortable, it would be great for a looong stay too. There is everything you need, the location is fantastic (walking distance to old town, great restaurants, shops etc, everything nearby, close to train station...). We enjoyed it a lot and felt right at home.
