tiny washing machine no dryer, extremely slippery shower floor, footsteps heard during day from upstairs, a bit musty air smell each time we entered the apt but could use fan to clear it out, tricky heater control, limited courtyard-only view

The bedroom was done nicely and with plenty of wooden hangers to use.

Bathroom was not directly adjacent to the bedroom.

Nicely furnished apartment with separate bedroom, living room and kitchen area. Good heating that we could control from inside the apartment. Bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Close walk from the free parking outside Porta Laterina so carrying luggage was not a problem. Also a very short walk to all the attractions of Siena. The kitchen was equipped well enough to make our own meals. Hot water and good water pressure in the bathroom. Washing machine for clothes was very useful as we stayed for a week. A lot of people in the reviews were complaining about hearing the neighbors upstairs, but we found that we only heard them a couple of times a day when they were getting up in the morning and then after work/school. In general by 10 pm they would be quiet. It's normal when you have wooden floors to hear every step but we found the level of noise to be reasonable and it didn't disturb our rest. Overall a pleasant experience at a good price point considering the location.

It's on the ground floor of a courtyard, so a little bit dark. The kitchen could use a kettle and a microwave but we managed to make our own meals with what was there. A drying rack for clothes would also be a nice addition. When we came in, the apartment had a strong smell of mold but we managed to reduce it within the first day by heating and ventilating the space. I think the owners should consider ventilating the place properly before guests arrive and maybe leaving the heater on occasionally in winter as humidity accumulates in the space causing a moldy smell. We sneezed a lot the first day as we're allergic to mold, but once we heated and ventilated the space we were much better. If it was not for this issue, I would have given this place a 10.

Lovely central, spacious apartment with everything you need!

The keys were easy to find on location with detailed instructions from the host. The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. Comfy bed.

The upstairs neighbours are quite noisy (not the fault of the host!).

This is a very lovely apartment. It is spacious, comfortable and well set up with everything a traveler may require. We would be happy to stay here again.

The location was amazing! Close to parking and the absolute perfect base for the comune of Siena and the perfect base for the surrounding areas like Florence, San Gimignano etc. The property was spotless and so stunning inside. Very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we could need. The entrance was great and felt very secure as did the property itself. The owners were amazing with communication and advice about the property and the local area.
