Było fantastycznie. Krótko: Kawa na balkonie przy widoku na otwarte morze o kolorze turkusu - mega! Dom jest przy samej legendarnej drodze nr SS163 -kwintesencja uroku Wybrzeża Amalfi. Olympia i jej Mąż to cudowni ludzie. Dziękujemy Wam za cudowny pobyt! a Maria to po prostu Anioł! Czekała na nas już na przystanku linii SIATA ! a to tylko ok 50 m od APARTAMENTU. Udzieliła na pełnej informacji o wszystkim a w trakcie pobytu często pytała się czy nam czegoś nie brakuje. Do samego centrum Amalfii to tylko 1000m a my rozkoszowaliśmy się atmosferą z dala od turystycznego zgiełku. Do plaży jest jakieś 200 m w poziomie i 50 m w pionie. Ale to typowe i po to tu się przyjeżdża. Gorąco polecamy. Kwatera jest OK

Trudno coś poprawić skoro jest doskonałe. Dodał bym informację ze do Amalfi można dojść przez tunel pieszy od parkingu Luna Rossa.

Stayed with my older brother and my parents (aged around 80 years). I love great properties and Casa Gargaon exceeded my already high expectations. First is the location. Its at a bend in the curve about 1 - 2 km from Main Amalfi town (easily walkable in 10 mins). Next the appartment is beautiful and the view from balcony are just stunning (exactly the view one would want from a place like Amalfi coast. Interestingly, the balcony faces East, so one gets amazing sunrise view. Also, the appartment had all modern amenities. There is small very private beach tucked away right next door. There is parking right below the appartment, which is a big plus in amalfi area, though please note the size of car recommended (I think 4.4m length) Maria, our host, was absolutely lovely lady. She gave clear instructions on how to reach, explained everything in detail and was always available to answer any of our questions. She was punctual and made the stay even sweeter. This being my second time to Amalfi coast and Had done a lot of research and i can really recommend this place and will come back here again for sure. Thank you Maria again!!

It was an incredible apartment. It seems to me that this is the most convenient accommodation on almost the entire coast) Far from the tourist noise, but close to the wonderful village of Atrani and Amalfi. There is a bus stop nearby, a grocery store with everything you need. But the views from the window! I can't put it into words! Amazing! Every morning you can watch unforgettable sunrises! The apartment is very cozy, bright and filled with soul. There are a lot of living details, vintage furniture, photographs, paintings. Everything is selected with love. It feels like you've come to visit your beloved Italian grandmother) There is no feeling of a hotel, there is a feeling of home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is everything, but most of all I liked the plates, which were like a time machine that transported you to the past) Yes, leaving the house right on the road, but it didn't bring discomfort, on the contrary, there was such a road romance. The noise of passing cars didn't bother anyone at all. Olympia and Maria are very attentive and hospitable. Maria is such an open and nice girl! Even though it was raining on the day we moved in, she gave us the sun. Thank you for making our stay wonderful! And yet, they sort the garbage in this house! I wish you success in this matter! We recommend it a thousand times!

Wi-Fi doesn't work very well, but this is not a minus, but a plus. Complete disconnection from work and social networks)

The view was amazing, one of the best views we've ever had on a trip. Besides the view, Maria exceeded expectations ensuring we had an incredible stay -- whether that was making sure we got a great deal on the ride there, giving us great recommendations for restaurants and local sites to visit, ensuring everything was set in the apartment, or getting a refund for a bus that failed to pick us up when we left. Maria was wonderful!

Though the view is breathtaking, guests should be aware that restaurants, sites, etc., entail a walk down a busy road, the main central town (Amalfi) is about a 15-20 min walk away. There's limited ventilation in the apartment, AC did not work, and wifi was not great.

Prachtig uitzicht en super vriendelijke host

Aan super drukke weg. Als je deuren open hebt of op balkon zit, druk toeterd verkeer en heel veel uitlaatgassen. Ook om het appartement te bereiken is met gevaar voor eigen leven! Je moet langs de drukke weg lopen en dan over rennen naar de voordeur, daar moet je tegen de voordeur aangeplakt de deur open doen anders wordt je aangereden. Ligt ook best stuk lopen naar Amalfi.

Die Aussicht vom Appartement aus ist grandios. Man sieht sowohl vom Zimmer als auch vom Wohnbereich direkt auf das Meer. Der Balkon ist zwar schmal, aber man kann zu zweit draussen essen und dabei auf das Meer hinaus sehen. Die Strasse führt direkt unter dem Balkon durch. Diese hört man natürlich, man sieht sie aber nicht.

Der Lärm der Autos und der Postautos ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dieser Nachteil wird aber allemal durch die Aussicht auf das Meer wettgemacht.

El apartamento tiene unas vistas absolutamente increíbles, sin duda lo mejor de la estancia. Además, la decoración está muy cuidada y el personal fue muy amable en todo momento.

Sin embargo, hay varios aspectos importantes que hacen que la experiencia no haya sido la esperada. Para empezar, el apartamento se encuentra justo en una curva muy transitada, y al salir por la puerta literalmente estás en la carretera. Cada vez que salíamos era una aventura peligrosa, con coches y autobuses pasando a toda velocidad y tocando el claxon constantemente. El ruido del tráfico es constante, lo que hace difícil descansar o relajarse, especialmente por la noche. Otro detalle importante es que se anuncia con dos habitaciones, pero en realidad solo hay una; la segunda "habitación" es un sofá cama en el salón. Además, de los dos baños, uno tiene la ducha completamente inservible (sin mampara ni cortina, imposible usarla sin inundar todo), y la otra se emboza, lo cual fue bastante incómodo.

She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and available throughout our visit, sharing excellent local recommendations and checking in via WhatsApp to make sure everything was going well. Her care and attentiveness really stood out. The apartment offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Amalfi coast and the town below — truly breathtaking. However, it’s important to note a few details that weren’t fully clear from the listing: Noise and location: The apartment is situated along a very narrow and busy road with no sidewalks. While the view is fantastic, the constant traffic and honking (from early morning until late evening) can be quite loud, even with the windows closed. This could be a concern for light sleepers or families with young children. Safety/accessibility: Because there are no sidewalks and cars pass extremely close, I would not recommend this location for families with small children, strollers, or anyone with reduced mobility. Laundry: Although the listing mentioned a washer and dryer, we learned at check-in that using them costs €12 extra per load, and they are located outside of the apartment. Layout and photos: The photos online made the space appear slightly different than in person. The main bedroom does not have a window to the outdoors—the window opens into the living room instead. The living room itself doubles as a second bedroom, containing one fold-out bed and one daybed, along with the TV. Overall, we enjoyed our time, loved the view, and were very grateful for Maria’s kindness and hospitality. With a few clarifications to the listing, this property could be an even better experience for future guests.
