Casa Gargano Ravello Amalfi Coast

Everything the beds was comfortable and the place was clean…. Close to the Amalfi coast and the port. Maria the host was awesome! Thank you for letting us stay!

Great view great location, nice apartment,

The biggest plus is the view, which is just spectacular. The appartment has all you need, very comfortable and the air conditioning was most welcome! Great location, close to a beach and an easy walk to Atrani and Amalfi. Was nice to be outside of the business of Amalfi. Bus stop around the corner provides easy access to the other towns. Maria was a wonderful host and communication before and during our holiday was excellent.

The only bugbear is the road. It's busy and can be noisy, particularly with the buses honking their horns.

Beautiful apartment and wonderful hosts. The apartment is located in Atrani, the next village over from Amalfi. Atrani offers a more peaceful beach and town center than the crowded Amalfi. And, with a bus stop just a minute away from the front door, you must take the bus to Maiori!!!! Maiori is simply beautiful, friendly and far less tourists.

The front door is inches away from traffic. While the Italian drivers are incredibly skilled at driving these tight and windy roads with pedestrians on the road, it is still quite scary coming out the front door.

The location is stunning, easily the best part. The view from the porch is amazing, it was a great place to relax when we were back at the apartment. It is also located right near the Lido di Ravello beach which is a fantastic option to use each day, just be prepared for the stairs down. Final location benefit is how close it is to the Sita bus stop that both the Salerno-Amalfi and Ravello-Amalfi buses us. Atrani is such a lovely town as well. We loved doing our nights there, even after we visited other towns during the day. Finally Olimpia and Maria are fantastic hosts and we’re so welcoming. They made our stay incredible and I would be happy to stay there again.

Only downside would be if you wanted to take the ferry in, it would be a longer trip. For this reason, we took the bus.

The view of the apartment is astonishing, wrong direction for the sunset but still spectacular. The hostess Maria is extremely service minded and helped out with any questions on very short notice - thanks again! The apartment is newly renovated and has everything we needed during the week, including a well equipped kitchen. And the general atmosphere of the apartment was superb!

If you don't have your own car it is a minus that it is no supermarket or bakery nearby, especially if you likt to cook your dinner or surprise your family with a breakfast. It is a walk of approximately 500 meters to Atrani center but the street is lacking a sidewalk, instead you are walking in the "middle of the traffic".

Hospitable service from staff and stimulating interaction with hosts was a highlight. The building has a romantic allure. The apartment is decorated with flair and well-equipped. Atrani where this property is located, is a wonderful little town with its own shops and great restaurants and bus service. Atrani is walking distance from Amalfi (where ferries depart). The swimming bay which the apartment overlooks, is the most wonderful spot you can imagine. Treat yourself to dinner at the Hotel Villa San Michele, and if you are fit, don’t miss visiting the profound recent cave excavations at the Santa Maria Del Bando. Do walk the lemon path. There is so much more…

The view is absolutely gorgeous.

It’s 15 minutes walk to Amalfi town via a narrow road so walking with kids in night was little scary but manageable.
