Sunny Apartment Sofia

It's very much in the centre. Monuments and shopping within walking distance. The terrace facing south is nice and gets sun all day.

The flat looks like an improvised solution. There is no decent ventilation in either the bathroom or the part of the kitchen where you can cook. There are some serious safety hazards related to electrical installation, like plugs close to the sink and electric cables running close to the stove. No bed is decent, the air conditioning seems not to have a clean filter for a long time and all is covered in a old, dusty carpet. It's on a fifth floor and there is no elevator.

Clean house in amasing location. Olga and hosts are awesome!

Apartment nice there

There was no lift in it no good for anyone with health problems to 5th floor

The host was very communicative, met me when I arrived and taught me how to use the keys. The apartment is comfortably big, with two bedrooms, a cosy kitchen and a long balcony with a mountain view. I particularly liked the decorations, they made the rooms very homely and peaceful. Will definitely stay again if I come to Sofia!

I would have preferred a shower in the bathroom, rather than a bathtub, but other than that it was all okay.

I arrived late as my flight delayed.Olga has turned the air con and it was nice and warm in the appartment. She was very helpful and caring.The place is charming,cosy,warm and has a wonderful terrace!

This apartment is quiet, and it's very central, It does have a lovely south facing terrace that gets sun most of the day, and it has a nice view of a mountain. The shower is fine, and the towels were nice. There's a kettle, fridge, microwave so you can easily make basic snacks Olga greeted us, and was nice and friendly Just 8 minutes walk from Serdika metro station, so great for getting the metro to / from the airport

The place looks dirty because the carpets are really really old, and it smelt musty until we had the door and windows open. Most of the furniture is old and shabby too, including the main bed, which is on saggy springs. The sheets are synthetic / nylon stuff, which feel hot and sweaty in summer weather It's on the top floor so it gets very hot in sunny weather (though there is a/c). We didn't use the a/c though, because we wanted fresh air in the apartment to freshen up the air. The kitchen doesn't have much equipment, but you can cook basics there.

Great view from the balcony - main reason for going there and the central location. Host spoke more Italian then English but she was very friendly. Furniture is quite old but ok, giving a Balkanic vibe to the apartment.

Apartment is at the 5th floor and there is no elevator. There is no free parking. So you have to pay additional 20 leva/night (actually it was 18, but the "friendly" janitor rounded the sum).
