Casa Rattazzi

The location was perfect! So close to everything. Restaurants and shops were just outside the door. Turin is a very walkable city, and you are in the heart of it here. The apartment is very well decorated. The coffee machine was lovely.

The property was fabulous, but we couldn’t get the bathtub to work. Maybe user error? 😊

Location was perfect! An easy 5-10 min walk to the Porta Nuova train station, and the neighborhood was very nice with great local bar and restaurants. Apartment was really special, and you could tell the hosts had put a lot of thought and care into preparing it for guests.

no breakfast offered in full apartment and not expected. Very very spacious especially for only two people. Several fans good and needed. Cross ventilation thru apartment is good and helpful. no A/c. Elevator nice addition. Large old apartment bldg. this unit is exceptionally well maintained, comfortable for turn of century unit. Kitchen well equipped. Owner obviously uses it. Location was great. Close to train station and metro. only 1 block walk to airport bus was great. neighborhood busy, lots of shops/ restaurants. all walking streets or restricted car access. would never need a car here and public parking very expensive plus driving is exciting(!) if you don’t know where you’re going. Market Pam one block, about 15 min walk to Egyptian museum and all the busyness of central Turin still on closed streets. Area is very pedestrian friendly. La Grange restaurant around the corner has good pizza and seafood. A pastry shop and a fresh pasta store near it. We would go back.

There is a busy noisy night club across the street until 2am. must close windows on that side even when it’s hot. Windows are very effective at blocking noise, making it only an issue on hot nights.

could have been that we were just unlucky but bars and restaurants in street can get noisy at night

I can’t fault it

We really enjoyed our stay there!! Great location which made for a perfect vacation!

Spacious, lots of storage space, good communications with hosts, central location.

The only downside was that there was a lot of noise in the street outside on the Friday and Saturday evenings until the small hours. Recommend earplugs.
