Río Celeste Nature View

It was very clean.Beautiful view of Arenal. Lots of birds. Close to hiking,swimming and the town of Bijagua.

Not enough sitting spaces. No closets to hang anything up.Very firm bed.

Our host Elias was amazing, not only did he provide everything needed - he set up some great tours and made wonderful recommendations concerning all aspects of staying in the area. The food at family restaurants was exceptional. Wish we would have made plans to stay longer.

We enjoyed it all, very local experience.

The view was wonderful. It is very close to rio Celeste national park.

There were a lot of ants, if the power goes out there is no backup generator, you will need to drive to the city.

The view was amazing. I loved laying on the hammock outside. Staff were so accommodating. We set a time with them when we would meet, but we ended up texting them 2 times to push our check on time later. So much to see in the area Great location to the park and this wonderful, beautiful restaurant , it seemed was out in the middle of no where. The coolest restaurant I have ever seen.

The building was super dated. Room as well. No microwave or coffee maker. With the place being further away from any grocery store, I feel like this should be a necessity in the room. We Definitely would have stayed longer that morning to have coffee on the deck while taking in the beautiful view, if there would have been a coffee maker.

The place was just 5 mins driving distance to the volcán Tenorio NP. Unfortunately, we couldn’t not see wild Tapir while we were staying, but the view from the balcony was great!

The lodge itself was fine, a bit basic but it was very spacious with a nice deck. But what really makes it worth your stay is the beautiful garden!! Birds everywhere such as toucans, aracari and parrots but you can also see horses, lizards, butterflies and more. Elias is a really kind host who helped us book a wonderful night tour and we can also recommend the breakfast. Rio Celeste is just around the corner. Overall really great value for your money!!

The waterdrainage from the sink ends in the shower and the shower doesn’t really have a drain. Not really a problem but it was a bit odd 😂
