Riverside Promenade apartment S

The location of the apartment was good, the price was cheap.

1) There were often problems with water, because of this, we were left without a shower one evening, the landlord apologized and said he would return some of the money, but after a couple of days, nothing happened. 2)The apartment was dirty, I found other people's hair everywhere and many times. 3)The sound insulation is quite bad, but again, the price was cheap. 4) Twice when I opened the refrigerator, the refrigerator doors just fell off and I repaired it.. by the way, the fridge smelled a bit... it should be washed at least sometimes...

Host was helpful. Nice bed, microwave, spacious room.

Bathroom a bit scary but okay for a short stay. Bus stations a bit far.

The stay was pretty good and great value for money. The facilities were clean, accommodating and unpretentious. The host gave me all the information I needed to collect the keys and was very friendly. In addition, I was provided with some recommendation of what to do in Riga. Can still get a bit cold at night but there is heating available and it warms up the place quite quickly. The location is good, just a 10 minute walk to the city centre and a stones throw from the river banks.

The entrance hall of the building could do with a refurb or a fresh paint but that is not entirely up to the host. The shower could use a shower matt too. Apart from that, everything was great.

The location is very great, 10mins walking distance to Riga bus station, 15mins walking to Old Town. Also, should be soooo beautiful view on the Riverside in summer. The apartment itself is quite small, but we weren't expecting to spend a lot of time inside, so it suited us very well. All amenities fort short stays are there. Free parking nearby. The host is very nice, provided very detailed instructions how to get to the apartment and where to park the car, also gave some recommendations for sightseeing.

It would be great to do some small maintenance, but it didn't bothered too much. The shower is quite small, so be aware if your complexity is a bit bigger.

The bed was comfortable.

Most of the furnitures were broken, the bottom of the shower was rusty and the dishes were not the cleanest.
