Apartments Lička 25

The owner, Josip and his mother are salt of the earth people. Friendly but not overbearing. Josip has excellent English. Both so helpful. Place is small but perfect for getting a great night's sleep and storing our bags during the day while we explored the city. 1/ 5-10 min walk to awesome XXL Pizza place (takeout only cash accepted) 2/ 5-10 min walk to excellent 2nd hand clothing store. 3/ 30-35 min walk to all the beaches. 4/ 15 min walk to Joker Mall with big Tommy Supermarket 5/ 30-35 min walk to old town, food markets and Palace etc. I.e. Great location.

Clean apartment, and lovely people.

It was very hard to find the accommodation. And parking and driving a car was an experience - narrow streets and no footpaths.

It had the nicest Croatian lady looking after it. It had all the facilities you needed like a washing machine, wifi and aircon. Was good value for money and a short walk to the city.

- Very friendly hosts - close to the city centre (~ 15 min walk) - you get everything you need (air conditioning, washing machine, kitchen, etc.)

- could get noisy - room was damp

The apartment had everything that was needed during the stay. Lovely, very helpful host. The apartment was clean.

The location was different than the one shown in the advert. It was still okay - the town centre was with the walking distance. However, the bus station was a little bit farer than expected. Also, someone has tried to come in when we were asleep in the morning, not sure whether it was a host or someone from the outside.

We had a great stay! We were welcomed warmly by the family and given info and suggestions about Split. The apartment was very clean, very well equipped and very comfy with the AC unit. There are 2 bus stops close by but we also walked to the old town, which is about 18-20 minutes. Very safe area. We really appreciated how kind and helpful Yosip and his mother were. She even kindly offered us an umbrella when we left because it had started to rain, and when we didn't take it as we knew we wouldn't be able to return it, Yosip drove us to the bus station. Lovely stay!
