Langer House apartment in Old Riga

Die Lage ist wirklich unschlagbar und ich denke, wenn man direkt in der Altstadt wohnt, ist es klar, dass es lauter werden kann. Uns hat es aber gar nicht gestört. Wir waren uber ein verlängertes Wochenende da, also war es auch nicht schwer die Koffer hochzutragen. Alles ist sauber und sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Ausstattung und Kommunikation ist auch fantastisch gelaufen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier buchen

Fantastyczny kontakt z właścicielką. Lokalizacja doskonała do zwiedzania Old Town. Parkingi płatne, ale w niedalekiej odległości od apartamentu.

Ubicación y limpieza

Reservamos 3 noches. Tan solo pudimos ducharnos con agua caliente el primer día. El anfitrión nos dijo que era un problema de la localidad (luego adjunto una foto en el hall del edificio que demuestra que no es así). En resumen, Booking ha tratado de que obtengamos un reembolso y no ha sido así. Nosotros reclamamos una parte del precio que hemos pagado, ya que no hemos tenido un servicio básico como agua caliente. La respuesta del anfitrión fue que nos ofreció hacer el check out más tarde como compensación. Claro, resulta gracioso que la solución sea quedarte más tiempo en un alojamiento en el cual llevas dos días sin poder ducharte. El anfitrión era responsable de avisarnos que había un corte en el suministro de agua caliente durante nuestra estancia. De habernos avisado, hubiésemos elegido otro alojamiento.

Very cosy and beautiful apartment

There were very noisy bars on the 1st floor, I couldn’t sleep at Friday-Saturday night. It’s a good place for those who stay till the morning in these bars

The position in the centre

2nd floor

The room is really cozy, the whole entrance of the building is stunning with large wooden stairs, really beautiful. The room has absolutely everything you need, and all the small details are just perfect. The host is super friendly and helpful.

It is located exactly above 3 or 4 bars. So if you're in Riga to party through the night, it will be the best place for you, as you'll have all the bars just next door. Unfortunately, if you'd prefer to sleep before midnight or you're just a light sleeper, the street becomes quieter around 1-2 am. I stayed during the weekend, so of course it was worse. I'd assume during the weekdays it will be quieter and therefore not a dealbreaker.
