Staircase dangerous

Great location and right in the city center.

The street under the windows is quite noisy in the night.

Location is excellent. The host was available and helpful.

It was walking distance to everything. Good towels and shower.

The noise is terrible. So bad the owner left wax earbuds. But you will get shouting, screaming going on until 3am as there are 4 popular bars directly outside. The stairs to get up to the apartment are a nightmare. Very steep and narrow. Throwing the rubbish out meant going down 50 steps and into a dark courtyard to find the bin. Everything in the apartment was old or worn. The bedsheets were ancient and the fridge needs replacing. No aircon and just one tiny fan. It gets really hot up there so I was surprised there wasn't a bigger fan provided. I had an early flight but due to the partgoers outside I had to go to a local hotel (Neiburg's) to make sure my scheduled taxi would be able to collect me. I enjoyed Riga but I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean and located in the old town

The bathroom was nice. The room itself had a lovely big window and the bed was well sized.

The pillows weren’t comfortable and the kitchen is a bit small. It is kind of difficult to cook for yourself in this apartment
