Langer House apartment in Old Riga

Highly recommended! It is literally in the heart of Old Town. I am extremely satisfied that I stayed in this amazing place.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a renovated building. Although there is no elevator in the building, walking through the beautiful interior is an experience in itself. The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped, including the little things in the bathroom that you have at home. The apartment is open to a street with bars and people making noise for much of the night. Closing the window solves the problem.

In summer or when it is warm/hot and with a longer stay, closing the window does not help as there is no air conditioning, only a fan. At such times, you will have the window open but also have difficulty sleeping (which was not really the case for me).

the room is located right in the center of the old town, therefore, it is super convenient to visit anywhere. and the street view is worth the effort of climbing up the stairs ;) and the host is very responsive and friendly.

to me is not very difficult but the stairs can be very challenging for senior people - book the room before you checked the pictures the host provides. Otherwise, the room is great for a short stay.

on a busy Street with a bad across till late at night

Apartment located in the city centre, everything is very close - walking distance. Self check-in and check-out was great.

Cozy and clean apartment,great location, super fast communication

During weekend little bit noisy in front of building

Rather a studio than an apartment, but cozy and clean. The kitchen space is very small, we did not cook, only made coffee, but there were dishes and tools for those who wanted to cook. The location is very good - in the very center, near cafes, shops, museums. Although the center of Riga is sometimes very noisy, it was quiet here at night.

We had two problems: the cold and the smell. When we entered the room, it turned out to be very cold, we expected to turn on the heating, there was a thermometer on the handle, which showed 14.5 C. Unfortunately, the heating was turned off. We turned on the heating in the bathroom and kept the door open. The next day the thermometer showed 16.4 C. On the third day, it was 17 C. I think the hosts should care that the temperature is right on the day of the guests' arrival. The room was heavily scented with some kind of perfume. We thought it was the smell of chemical cleaners that would evaporate. Later it turned out that it was the bedding with such a smell. I'm allergic to fragrances, so I had to take allergy medicine. I think the bed linen should have a neutral smell, because if the guests don't have allergies, they don't necessarily like that smell.
