Nedre Stølen Apartment Bergen

Carefully planned apartment to fit everything into a modest space! Very comfortable, quiet and a great location.

This was a great spot for a short stay as a solo traveler, though I would be comfortable staying here with my spouse as well. It was kinda cute as it was like a full IKEA room set up straight out of the show room- except for the bathroom. It was super clean and well maintained. Annette was very easy to be in touch with and very helpful! The apartment is in a great location- it’s a little walk uphill which may be difficult for some with walking difficulties. You’re right near the backside of Bryggen so its easy to cut through there and in general to walk about. You’re also down the way from Floibenen, so you can easily take the funicular up and see a great view. I would stay here again!

I think it would have been nice to have some kinda of reference booklet to know how to use the oven/stove and I wasn’t sure about the hot/cold air control, so I got a little warm at night which never leads to good sleep. There are a lot of walking tours that come up the street so that can be noisy at times.

Amazing location! Close to public transport and the entrance to Mt. Fløyen and the funicular. Also loved the space to work, the kitchen, and large bed for 1. Also, even though I didn't use it, I liked how they had a washer! I would absolutely stay again.

I couldn't find a way to turn on the stove, and the instructions weren't listed anywhere. Also, this is a minor nit but the shower head sprayed everywhere and would benefit from being replaced. Otherwise so perfect!

Small apartment with fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect: it is in a quiet street in the city centre. Anette was very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is very small, when using the shower everything was wet. The walls are very thin, we could hear when people walking up the stairs above our head.

I enjoyed my stay in the apartment. It is a quiet area, but very close to the city.

Price seems fair given the location and city overall

The apartment (Apartment A) is really small and definitely cannot house more than one single adult. The bathroom doors are thin so it affords really little privacy. The street outside is blocked from this ground-floor unit with only a sheer thin curtain so noise (both from outside and upstairs) travels easily. The apartment is located close to the city centre as the crow flies, but is up several very steep cobble-stoned slopes, so fair warning to those with wheeled luggages.
