Plaza Nueva Stay Bilbao

The flat is located close to the new square in the old town of Bilbao which is an amazing spot to explore the city. You have tons of restaurants, bars and shops around you and can directly start your journey with a good pincho and wine in your hand. The flat itself enables you to get an insight of the tradition building style which was perfectly renovated and mixed with modern elements. The kitchen is well-equipment and you have enough space everywhere. I was also very happy about the three bathrooms and the included shampoo. You have the possibility to get into the flat automatically with a code/app but the host also offers to come around in person and gives recommendations and tips for the city (go for it when you arrive during the normal check in times).

Nothing the host can change but the neighbours' footsteps from above were quite good to hear in the morning, so for sleepers having a light sleep as me, I recommend earplugs.

Fab location and spacious beautifully furnished apartment. A big bonus to have ice cream store just below.

We loved the apartment but no air conditioning so was uncomfortable particularly at night. We understand the difficulty with the age of the building and the owners provided fans but at least one more needed. There was also a lot of noise from upstairs at 6am each day. Some issues with dirty bed linen at the start but dealt with very quickly.

Great location. Charming. Right near everything.
