Boleyn house

Very close to the town centre and to the rental car company. Surrounded by lovely cottages and traditional narrow streets. Easy to find. Comfortable. Good facilities. Nice nibbles!

Clean tidy and great location for what we were doing. The wet room shower was fantastic.

There's nothing bad about the room, to be honest. Possibly my own error with the thermostat, but we got back in the evening, and the room was like a sauna. Apart from that, all was good.

Convenient stopover travelling down to Cornwall. Free parking, tea and coffee making with extra goodies. Comfy bed and excellent bathroom facilities. Walking distance of restaurants etc in Bodmin.

We loved our stay here. The host greeted us on arrival just to say hello which was lovely. The place was beautiful and the directions spot on. We loved the small touches like croissants, biscuits etc on arrival and the place was incredibly clean.

I think the room could do with some air con as it was very hot in there within this summer time and there was only a window in the bathroom.

Very clean, secluded, high quality fit and finish, wet room shower/toilet. Comfy bed minus the pillows. Wet room and shower was great and worked well.

We booked thinking we’d booked the “apartment” in actual fact we’d booked the “room with en-suite” due to the way two property’s are listed. That being said the room was of high quality but did not include a sink, cooler or fridge/freezer. Not a dislike, but the drive was very long and narrow not suitable for wide vehicles, we fit ok with a MK7 Golf. The pillows could do with replacing as of July 2025 and was the only real negative.

Clean and comfortable with some nice touches—coffee, sugar, milk, etc. We had a problem with the door lock and the host responded very quickly. Great location.

NO INTERNET. No small fridge. And the shower wets most of the bathroom floor. The driveway is so narrow I scratched some of the paint on my rental car.

Great host with a great property to boot, provided secure storage for my bike. Room was exactly as described with some extras provided. Would happily stay here again if in the area.

The owner was a West Ham fan haha.
