The Snug Bourne

Good location,very quiet . Clean and well planned.

Pillows were not great.

Short stay following a day at Burghley Horse Trials. Normally prefer Guest House/hotel with access to proprietor & breakfast etc. This had none of this, but we were pleasantly surprised at the property, facilities and location to centre of Bourne, restaurants & pubs etc. Also the communication from the owner(Amy) by email was clear, relevant & helpful. Happy to recommend, & would have no qualms about booking again if in the area.

No breakfast that we normally book when going away. However they had all the kitchen facilities to self cater if wanted, & very close to a local pub that provided an excellent breakfast.

Lovely apartment, well equipped kitchen, really handy having M&S so close, quiet even though in town centre, great bathroom, shower was strong if you adjusted the head, great wifi and lovely to have a TV with normal channels, well laid out with vanity unit, sofa and footstool, plenty of light coming in through the wall of windows.

Two small moans , please replace pillows when flat and had their day and small glasses for morning fruit juices would be nice.

- Bed too soft for our liking - We like to sleep with a window open - not an option - Bedside lamp on one side of the bed only
