Loft Victoria Beach - FREE PARKING by Cadiz Time

This place is run by a company and the check-in went smoothly, the staff was very friendly, and talked pretty decent English. The location of the apartment is very good and it has free private parking in the garage - a very important pro when in Cadiz with a car.

We arrived in the evening with a dire need to wash some clothes. The company had left exactly 1 laundry detergent capsule for our 1 week stay, which is a bit weird, but OK. After starting the early 2000s washing machine and grabbing a beer to relax the real nightmare began: the bloody machine was leaking and produced a massive lake of dirty water in kitchen, hallway, and the bathroom. The water level exceeded 2 cm in some areas and there was no drain, not even in the bathroom! While responding to the emergency and draining the washing machine we also called the number the company provided, but because it was Sunday nothing could be done according to the emergency "specialist". He told he would contact the company to get this sorted the next day. OK - mañana, I guess. It took us over an hour to clean up this mess with the towels - not your ideal start of a stay, one could say. The next day I visited the company office only to find out they had no idea of the incident we had just encountered. So we had the same talk again and luckily the machine got fixed on the same day and we got some clean towels. Nice work there by the office people! However after the fix, the bathroom started to stink like skunk's arse and the the shower drain had gotten magically clogged. WTF happened there? A quick message to the company and it got declogged the next day. Yay! The overall quality of the apartment was fairly poor. The kitchen furniture showed obvious signs of earlier floods, so maybe we weren't the first victims of the washing machine after all? The knives in the kitchen were bent, the refrigerator door did not fully open as it was blocked by the doorframe. The lack and the positioning of existing power outlets was very annoying: the apartment has a disconnected bedside lamp with nowhere to plug in - is it really there only for the photos? Why not remove it after the photoshoot, because it simply cannot be used?

Picking up the keys from an office 2.5 miles from the property was a pain.

Awful experience.Extensive black mold( see photo).Informed agents and asked to be moved to another apartment or refunded next two nights,handed on keys.Told this was normal for Cadiz,their 'solution' was to go into apartment and destroy mold and repaint! We said unacceptable and would take it up with booking.com.At 8.30 that evening we had a message to say the apartment was now ready! Ruined holiday.

Building located next to the ocean. Parking below with dedicated parking lot is available. Possibility to pickup keys outside office hours.
