Brienzersee - Direct lake view

I dont know where to start, there is nothing not to like. Everything is perfection and much more! We are definitely coming back next year!

Nothing, just plain nothing.

The location is perfect. You won't feel like going away from the house. Perfect view of snow mountain and lake. The staff is also good and cooperative. Very close to the train station. Coop is also at walkable distance. If I come again then I would definitely stay here again. We had enough utensils in the kitchen. Everything was perfect.

excellent location, great view from the balcony, very comfortable, clean rooms for 4 people and plenty of kitchenware including a fondue machine in the kitchen

Overall, everything is superb. Great location near Brienz station. The scenery of lake brienz is excellent, and memorable. There are kitchen with facility, microwave, coffee machine, electronic stove. The heater in every room is good for snowy outside. The host help to correct the warm water problem. Easy to check in.

The basin in toilet is not well-drained. The housemate do not clean the apartment during 4 night stay. Some old parquet floor is look-like need repaired

Maybe a convenience pass for traveling for the city tax would be a better step.

Our apartment was spacious and had the benefit of the vast majority of the balconies. It was traditional, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was clean. There was a dishwasher and tablets to use in it which was great. A few essentials like washing up liquid, cooking oil and salt had also been left. We had a fantastic view of the lake and were in a spot convenient to the station, port and supermarket. Brienz is a beautiful town. I swam in the lake but there was the option to use the pool, and there was parking available too.

My bed creaked and the mattress wasn't level. If there had been 2 of us sharing it would have been a problem. The bath had no mat so it was slippery both when having a shower and when getting out onto the floor with wet feet.

The location was incredible with beautiful views across the lake

The condition of our balcony was a little dodgy and there was a burnt smell from the cooker.

The view is amazing and location fantastic. You really can’t fault either The property is also very spacious with lots of natural light. The owner is very friendly and you are provided with a gastekarte which provided discount off many local activities. There is a good full sized over , washing machine etc which is useful to cook your own meals as Switzerland in very expensive

We arrived after 6pm and keys were left out. Ty is was fine. However we had emailed and whatsapped at least 24 hrs before to say we would be late and ask where to park from reading previous comments. We got no response On arrival we could not find the car park and there were no instructions: After walking around the village for 45 minutes some other guests arrived and showed us where the car park was and let us in. However they did not explain that we needed a key fob which was a communal one in a seperate secret location to the apartment keys. We managed to not get all our belongings out of the car and the car was locked up and we couldn’t get to it until the next day when the owner was present. Not a great start While we were there was a severe storm and the village was damaged. We were not affected and our car was safer than many others which were destroyed. However the owner did not communicate to us that residents were being told to boil driving water. Martin the owner is very friendly but something of a character and does not seem very organised. The property was not particularly clean - the floor needed a good mop as our feet got filthy - to was a heatwave but don’t wear white socks. The bottom of the dishwasher was bunged up with someone else’s food.

A very nice property with amazing views. It was also close to the train station and had very beautiful view.

Once water leakage was there in the kitchen. But u guess that’s only bit of maintenance. Else all very nice
