Solomons Peak Apartment

Great property - well equipped with just about anything you would need, kitchen was exceptional. Would recommend anyone visiting buxton and planning some trips around the peak district to stay here! :)

The bigger bed wasnt quite comfy for me, I had to take the mattress topper off to get a good sleep but after that it was ace.

Where do I start! The communication between the owners was absolutely fantastic, I received excellent guidance on how to collect the key, parking permit and instructions on where to park. Full instructions on how to use everything in the apartment and things to do in Buxton. The apartment could not have been better located with everything on the doorstep, shops, pubs, book store etc the lovely Cheshire cheese pub which does lovely food is directly opposite. Whilst I was there I did Solomons temple, Go Ape and I seen Troy Hawke at Buxton opera house which is just a lovely stroll away. The apartment was absolutely stunning, I think I said the word “wow” several times! It has everything anyone could want, it was extremely clean and had gorgeous decor. The beds were super comfy and what I thought was super cute were the books, games and DVDs that were provided. I have stopped at several places up and down the country and this apartment was by far my favourite. The apartment has a gorgeous bath and the separate shower was super powerful, I have never felt so clean. I have read previous reviews mentioning the stairs, I just do not get it! If you live in a house, you’re used to stairs! At the top of the stairs there is a baby gate if you have concerns but do not the stairs that are clearly shown on booking.com and mentioned put you off, believe me this place is so worth a few steps.

Lorraine was lovely, we had detailed instructions in advance of what to do. The apartment was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very big, with a shower cubicle and a bath. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Nothing wrong at all, but just to be aware, if you are a wheelchair user or similar you could not stay here, there are lots of stairs.

The apartment was perfect for us. It was like home from home. The location was great for getting out and about and there was no shortage of pubs on the door step. The bedroom in the loft space was great with lots of light coming in through the 4 skylight windows.

The noise from the road was a bit loud at times but it did quieten down during the night allowing for a decent night's sleep. The stairs were a bit of a challenge at first but we used them to our advantage and included them in our daily steps/exercise.

Very nice stay. The apartment was well situated. Thanks to the parking pass, there was no trouble parking the car. The mattresses were very comfy. The owners were very helpful. The bedrooms were spacious, especially the top one.

The only thing to know is that there are steep stairs.
